When did you go for your fittings/alterations? I've had my dress for ages, but now I need some alterations.

My wedding is 5/18 and I am trying to figure out if going on 3/3 is too late.

I had my first fitting the end of last month. I need 4 fittings in total & my place books up fast (they were already pretty much fully booked!). I worked out my fitting schedule working backwards. Last one is the week before, then it's a month out for each. I don't think they really need a month to actually do the alterations, but that totally depends on where you're getting it altered.

Im planning on going the first part of March for my first fitting, they said 2 months was good.

I've already had my dress altered. We got it altered in August in order to even get to where I could sit in it/breathe. We'll check again in March and see if anything else needs to be done to it.

My wedding is also 5/18 and my first fitting is tomorrow. I'm a bit nervous because I've had my dress almost a year now and haven't tried it on since I picked it up.

Our wedding is May 26 and I have my first fitting March 24. I would contact the bridal shop that you purchased your dress from and see what they suggest.

my first is March 23rd (also the date of my bridal shower YAY!) and my wedding is May 18. called the shop last weeknd asked when I should in and that is the date gave me. they said about two months good.
