Does anyone have any recommendations for photographers? I really don't want to spend more than $1500 on a photographer. And I will need them for at least 6 hours, but I dont need albums done, I can do that myself. TIA!!

I would recommend is Scott Craig. His lowest package starts 1595 and he doesn't do albums for that price. His pictures are gorgeous once edited. He does 5hrs for that price. u can check him out,or take a look at jessica leigh too, she is highly recommended on here as well.

I don't want to recommend a photographer because I haven't gotten married yet so I can't say but....I do want to say if you don't want albums and you only need six hours, you can probably get a higher end photographer. A lot of them don't publish their prices but will be willing to work with you. For the photographer I chose, I called him and told him exactly in detail what I wanted, the kind of album I wanted, the number of hours and the price I wasn't willing to go over. He met my budget and all my requests and he is a very well known photographer. Later I found out that what I got was wayyy below the price of the normal all day package and all he took out was engagement photos. So I got a deal. You should call some of the higher end photographers and tell them that is what you want and see if they will give it to you. Most photography packages come with an album and if you take that out, a lot of photographers can be flexible with price. Don't get stuck on the packages they offer.

Thanks for the advice! I contacted some of the photogs you all suggested, Bill Peck and Tab... so now I just have to set up meetings so FI and I can both go meet with some so we can get that booked.Thanks again for all the help!!
