rose petals down the aisle

This maybe a silly question, but i haven't seen anyone else ask this:I want to have rose petals down the "aisle" of my ceremony site.  I do not have flower girls and I can not rope off the inside aisle because the chairs will line up all the way to the rock wall therefore, guests will all have to be seated down the center aisle.  When, who, and how do the petals need to get to the center aisle?  I don't need a fancy design, just a nice cover on the ground (it is an outside wedding.  Any help would be very appreciated, thanks!!!!

    Is it possible to rearrange your chairs so that there is room on the outside for seating your guests?i.e.  you could take 1-2 chairs from the outside of your rows and make a new row that way your rows may not be as wide but you will have more of them. Would that work?

    There is basically a stone wall all the way around and to fit all of our guests the chairs will have to be all the way to the edge and even along the back!  We have a very tight squeeze!!!  So no, I wish there were a way...so any suggestions on what to do?

    could you have your bridesmaids scatter the petals as they went down the aisle right before you do?

    Get someone to put the petals down before guests arrive, and hope they don't get too trampled on.
