I used Roods florist, the flowers were wonderful and lasted quite a while after our wedding.  However I am not sure if they are still in business, Mr. Rood retired from his cash and carry buisness, however I hear he is still doing arrangements for people who book at Cristos.  I had no issues with anything and I definatley would recomend them without any reservations.

I am using Beekman Florist in Lagrangeville.  Niccole has been great to work with and had some really good ideas for bouquets.  I am excited to see what she does the day of the wedding.  I thought her prices were reasonable.

We are using Bed of Roses Florist (Now in Yonkers, previously in New Rochelle)Carl has been great to work with so far.  We are getting a lot of flowers for a very reasonable price. Going to see my sample centerpiece in a month or 2, will have more to say after that!

I am lucky enough to have a very talented sister. She could give Martha Stewart a run for her money. We ordered my flowers from flowerexchange.com. They arrived fresh two days before the wedding and stayed alive for almost a week. We also ordered flowers from the Wallkill View Farm in New Paltz (perk of getting married in August). I had TONS of beautiful flowers on my wedding day. I collected the vases over a month at Michael's with 40% off coupons. I spent only about $600 but had what would have cost at least $2,000 had a went to a traditional florist.

Brookside Florist Vernon, NJ: Patti is a wonderful florist. She has been very helpful and sweet from day one. Her prices are very reasonable and gave us some wonderful tips on how to save money. We have gotten regular flower orders from her and they last forever! I would totally recommend her to anyone in the area.

No florist...DYI centerpieces and other arrangements. May have some garden tulips in May to include somewhere some how :-)As for Thurs, our wedding is at Colonial Terrace and of course they will cater for us :-) We had a food tasting and it was pretty good. They will be doing some portuguese dishes which is a very nice option for my side of the family.

I really do need to figure out how to post pictures. Facebook is the only place I know how to do it. My sister pretty much only does the flowers, etc. for friends and family. She keeps saying she wants to start a party/flower business but sticks with teaching.

Bed of Roses in Yonkers.  Carl worked really hard to keep the price down and gave me tons of ideas when I went in there not knowing what I wanted.  :)

Flowers By David Anthony in Monroe. I just booked a few weeks ago. David was really nice and seemed to really get what I wanted....of course I haven't gotten married yet, so I guess we'll have to wait and see if he really got it or not! hehe.... I really liked that he didn't try to sell me on stuff. He listened to what I wanted and made suggestions on how to do things and what flowers to substitute when the ones I wanted weren't in season or there were less expensive versions that would look similar. I want small low flowers for my centerpieces b/c I'll be doing damask table squares and I don't want them to be totally covered by the flowers and he didn't try to push anything bigger or more expensive on me...in fact he told me the size I was picturing was maybe even a little too big and suggested I go smaller. His price was comparable with the other florist I met with.

We used Bed of Roses. Carl was great to work with and our flowers came out beautiful! We got a great deal for the type of flowers we chose and the amount of flowers we got.

We are using David Anthony as well! I absolutely love him. I was so stressed out about the flowers because I had no idea about what I wanted. I went to him and it was like he picked my brain and help me create what I didnt even know I wanted.
