Wedding gifts to each other??

Hey Ladies are any of you giving your groom a wedding gift? I am having trouble thinking of something special for him on our big day. Thanks for any input.

I will probably do a Boudior Photo Session then give him the pictures either the day befire or day of the wedding.

I'm doing a boudoir shoot also to give to him the day of. I'm also surprising him (and everyone else) by renting a drivable replica of the Batmobile for photo ops. The owner will take him for a quick ride in it also

I got him a Playstation as a joint wedding/birthday gift. He never got a video game system growing up, so he was ecstatic.
Other gifts I was contemplating included a trip to this place in a nearby town where he could make and bottle his own beer, nice cigars, or six pack of baseball tickets to his favorite team.

A boudoir photo shoot is a nice idea, as I have thought about that my self.

May I ask, if you were to think about it, what would you say has been your best most memorable date? Maby something along the same lines. For instance if it was a baseball game and he loves the Yankees, maybe a signed ball? I would say something that is very personal to the two of you yet something he can proudly display, or tickets to an event you can enjoy together.

Usually for weddings, I make afghans for people, but I'd already made one for DH a couple years prior to our wedding. Instead, then, I cross-stitched his favorite picture of us and stitched a special Bible verse underneath. A lot of hours went into it, but he was so touched!

Definitely not saying you need to cross-stitch yourselves onto something--just suggesting that you think about your own skills or hobbies and try to incorporate something personal. (If, of course, you decide to go with gifts)

I wanted to buy him a piano but he appears to be moving forward on this on his own. Pooper. Back to the drawing board. My mom is suggesting a nice watch, but he's not really a watch-wearer (esp. in this era of cell phones), though if I encouraged it as "useful decoration" he might. Hmpf. He's hard to buy gifts for.

I don't think we'll do gifts - getting married and going on our honeymoon will cost enough. Plus, we'll be married, the best gift of all

We are exchanging something the morning of that we can wear for the wedding day. So I am getting him a nice watch since the one he currently has is slowly dying.

We both went to the same university so I got a sketch of the two of our class rings intertwined by an artist who went to our university too. It hangs between our diplomas.

we didnt exchange gifts. our wedding day, our wedding bands and our honeymoon was more than enough. we did end up writing each other a letter and exchanging them the night before to read in the morning.

I'm having a bouquet made of all the dried roses he's given me...hopefully, not sure if it's even possible.

For the main, definitely happening gift, i'lll be construction a book of all the poems I write in the years since I met him almost right up until our wedding that either are about him or involve him in some way. He doesn't know I'm doing this though hehe

We're not planning on gifts (at least to my knowledge!), but I am writing him a letter and having one of my BMs give it to him the day of. I'm horrible and verbally expressing myself, but I wanted to give him something that says how I feel.

I'm thinking a boudoir session, but also a notebook, journal with a different reason everyday of why I love him from the time he proposed (I hope I don't run out of reasons...not possible)
