FI has no credit and tried to get our electricity turned on, they were gonna charge him over $300 to do it. I called and there was no deposit required! woohoo!! Our washer/dryer get delivered on Saturday. I didn't like the kitchen cabinets, so I bought some red mahagony wood paint and the drawer I tested out looks great!!!

I have decided that I'm going to go home and take a nap and not feel guilty about it. I'm working part time right now, and that won't last forever, so I'm going to try to take advantage of it while I can. I guess that was more of a confession than an AW, but oh well.

Yeah, we're doing them with Jackie Reitz. We decided we wanted to have something cute on our first Christmas card. I can't wait. We had such a good time at the fair a couple of weeks ago that I was really pumped to go back. Fried butter....mmmmmmmmm (in my best Homer Simpson voice).

Thanks, ladies - it felt great to finish! I was totally surprised that I made it all the way through, given that my feet had been giving me trouble. I was very proud of the group of us that did the race (although we were by no means racing). DH, another friend, and I have resolved to be healthier and lose some weight, and so we were proud of ourselves for showing up while other friends bailed.

I'm getting my hair cut in a little over an hour. About an inch. Nathan is booked up so I'll try him next time but I'm going to Mouton's in Grapevine today. I'm a little nervous about letting someone else cut my hair; I've been going to see my lady since 1996.

I know how you feel, Julie. I haven't been getting my hair cut by Misty for that long, but it has been Her haircuts are so great because they always grow out really well, which is good for me since I tend to wait too long between cuts. She's an old friend of FI's so he comes with me to my appointments when he can. Actually, they used to date, but that was over ten years ago.
