What's in your OOT bags and gifts for kiddies?

I'm starting to put together my OOT bags, just wondering what cute ideas you guys have?!?!? I'm all out of creativity at this point. Also, what are you giving little ones as attendant gifts? I have a 4yr old flower girl that I think I have covered but then I have a 9yr old FG and an 7/8 yr old ring bearer...any thoughts? Thanks guys :-)

I was going to put bottles of water and crackers and mints and some candy maybe some chips. All I know is the past two weddings I have gone to when I returned to my room drunk I wished for something to munch on to help "soak up the liquor. I was also thinking of putting something that represents FI and I  but who knows if I will come up with. I am also getting married on I-drive so I think Im going to make my own brochure of places to eat and things to do.Other then that I got nothing but I hope maybe I helped spark something! ;)

For my OOT bags I was thinking of putting snacks, basic toiletry stuff a personalized note and Disney related stuff (I heard you can get free pamphlets somewhere.....)

we're not doing OOT bags, but for our FG we're giving her a jewelry box and a necklace to wear at the wedding. Since she's 4, shes getting an Ariel musical jewelry box, but for an older FG, you could always get a more grown up.

oops hit post too soon.. that should be a "more grown up one" lol

As lame as it seems, my daughter has been a flower girl multiple times and her favourite gift was a Target gift card. She liked the card itself, and she was so excited about getting to shop for her own special present. FWIW.

Our OOT bags had snack bars, chips, peanuts, energy drinks, aspirin, water, an OOT brochure, and hot tea bags.We gave our FG a bag like I gave the bridesmaids with a flowergirl book, a coloring book, and a 'sisters' frame with a picture of us in it (she was super excited to be getting a big sister). We gave RB a mounted baseball with his name on it that said All Star Team and a coloring book.
    That's Mrs.skWhitneyAmanda to you!

I plan to include a few bottles of water, chips, cookies, mints, a welcome brochure, 2 doses of tylenol or ibuprofen (my dilemma is which one!), and one of those tiny bottles of purell because the nurse/germaphobe in me just has to.  I was thinking of putting a mango from my parents' tree, but I'm not sure if they will have enough mangos for all the OOT bags.I don't have any kids in my BP so I'm no help there.

    Terri, I'll take those mangoes....

aside fromt he stuff mentioned above, we put mini bottles of wine in the bags and juice boxes for the few families hat had kids. I have also heard of oranges for FL.

I was thinking about gift cards for the FG she feels like she gets to go "shopping". And the oranges are cute and the juice boxes is so great for the kids!

Just wondering.... how many out of town guests do you have and how do you know they'll all stay in the hotel you booked a block of rooms with?
  • edited December 2011
We have a good amount of OOT guests and the OOTers are mostly family, so we know through our parents who is staing where. Most of his fam is at one place and mine at another. His family wanted to stay closer to his parents house for visiting purposes and same with ours. I'll probably go the night before they check in and have the hotel set them up in their rooms for when they get in. Is that how other people have done it?

Chenoa - Yes, that's how it's done.Usually, the property charges a "delivery fee".I'm not doing them, but our venue said if we called they'd let us know who booked a room or how many rooms were booked and we could have OOT bags delivered for like $2 per room or something like that.IMO, it was one of those things that I just wasn't going to worry about.GL!
