for future reference, i should lay out the pieces before just takings scissors and needle and thread to 'em.We'll see if this works but I've already screwed it up like 8 times.

    As with anything, it takes practice. That is why you don't bust out the the good fabric/yard/whatever in the beginning.

    I mean yarn. I learned this lesson with my bulbs last year. I planted them where *I* wanted them, not where *they* want to grow.

    Yeah, I'm using ribbon left over from making a friend cat collars and cloth left over from...oh dear, a costume for halloween 8 years ago.
