I was looking at the calendar today and thinking wtf? did all the time go? I mean many of us have spent months and or year(s) planning our weddings but now i'm just at a a lost at my wedding is so close. I'm not sure i'm ready for all this...end of rant or something like that...

    Haha yeah! I've been engaged for 10 months, our wedding is in May. And I haven't done much planning... Are you done?

    I'm almost done...planning is done, just detailing and completing my to do list is still to go! good luck with your planning.

    Yes I do.  I have 22 days and feel like I am going to hurl.  Not from getting married, just the whole planning thing.  I feel like I am really behind on some things and keep thinking I am forgetting stuff.

    I have similar thoughts but from the other side... I remember meeting Apple when my wedding wasn't far away, and I thought her wedding was so far way in comparison, but now her wedding is just around the corner!

I feel like there is tons to do but I am hoping to have all the big stuff besides catering pinned down by the end of November atleast. I know what I want it is just a matter of intiating it now.

    Yes! I call it the "snowball effect", lol. No matter how well I am prepared, the closer an event gets the faster time seems to go, and the more I panic!

    I think I came on TK around January or February.  Back then, I was convinced November would NEVER get here!  Now it's 4 weeks away, yikes!  I am so glad I had 10 months--it took every bit of that time but here towards the end I'm not stressed and most everything is in place and ready to go.  But I didn't do that much DIY--I think I would have needed at least a year if I had done much myself.  Thank goodness for Etsy!

    Terri - yeah I remember that! We were talking about your wedding and that other chick's and I was like mine's so far awwwaaay! And now it's not anymore! AH! I am making headway though...have 3 flip flops done and only have like 7 more to do I think lol including a pair for meee!
