Guest Books

Please show me your guest books!! I am at a loss at what I want to do. And the second piece....are you planning on using the same book or a seperate one for the AHR? I think I am making this way more complicated than what it needs to be.Thanks ladies!!!!

Re: Guest Books

  • I'm doing a postcard guest book.  All the guests at the wedding and AHR can fill in a postcard and then I'm going to put them all together in another book. I'm hoping to find a photo album where they will stay or convince one of my craft scrapbooky friends to put them together for me :)
  • I'm doing a DIY Polaroid guest book. I'm going to take a scrapbook and turn it into a guest book just like the polaroid ones, but hopefully for cheaper. Also, instead of polaroid photos, I'm going to buy a Wasabi (a portable inkless photo printer) for guests to take their digital pics, print and insert as well as write a comment about the trip or well wishes to us. HTH
  • I'm planning to do a photobook by uploading pics to mypublisher.com of FI and I over the last few years, interspersed with some of our favorite love/relationship quotes, and let people write around them.
  • I collect coffee table books from cities I've been to. So my guestbook will be a coffee table book from the place we are getting married and I'm going to have my guests sign the first page...that way I can display it on my table at home.
  • We are doing a picture mat.  I've ordered an off white mat cut at AC Moore big enough for 50 people to sign and then we'll insert a wedding picture in the center and have it framed to hang on the wall.  I've made the instructions (pib).

  • We're also doing the hardcover coffee table book of Savannah.  And yes, we're using the same one for our wedding as the AHR - I want all of our guests' signatures, comments, and advice in one place.
  • Since FI and I are eloping, we don't need a guestbook for our DW :) We are doing an AHR.  I recently decided not to have a guestbook at it, but if I did I was going to go with this:http://www.guestbookstore.com/wedding.html
  • I really like the coffee table book idea....(to me it's the easiest!) Where did you guys find your books? I'm online shopping for one right now...this is a cute idea!
  • I got mine on Amazon and just entered "Savannah hardcover book" into the search function. A lot of them let you peek at some of the pages and I just picked the one with the most photos. We ended up sending the first one back because the photos were mostly of old homes, rather than of the city itself. The second one we got was MUCH nicer and I'm so excited!
