My favorite movie is the Sound of Music. I know every line and every song in the whole movie. I made DH buy me an original poster that ended up being about 6ft by 5ft and am re decorating the room it is in so that it matches better.

The first website I ever "created" was a fan site dedicated to Riverdance (specifically the Lagan Company, one of their North American troupes), when I was sixteen or so. I had a techie friend help me do it, since I didn't know anything about things like Google sites, or even basic HTML coding. I checked and it's still floating out there in cyberspace (though I won't share the URL or server name!) Has "teenybopper" stuff like a guestbook (signed by some of the dancers) and a list of the guys my friends and I liked from the troupe. It's kinda embarrassing now. *sheepish grin*

I will be doing a little dance number at my reception to the song "Love you I do" from the Dreamgirls soundtrack. My BMs and MOHs are all in on it and are currently working on the choreography. I think it will be a great way to surprise FI on the wedding day! The words to the song are awesome "i know you're the best, you've past every test, it's almost too good to be true...you're the perfect man for me...i love you i do" :)

FI and I have our own language. We speak in "R's" to eachother.  Like literally every day.  We started it years ago because we thought that if our dog could talk he'd say things like "routside" or "rarah"Just a few minutes ago, Tom sent me an email, "what are you having for rinner tonight?"  We are odd!  :)

Fi and I have a whole section of our closet devoted to our Disney shirts. We're total Disney geeks, and only wear Disney shirts when we go. lol We're weird but we love it.

Vedika - that's not true!  your poop can float if you have a fatty diet.

I'm working on DIY wedding things right now.... Cocktail napkins, to be exact. In between napkins, I am throwing the toy for my boys, so not many napkins are being made.

Sarah's special "language" fact made me think of this.  H will say poot for fart.  One night he laid in bed replacing poot or pooty in words to real songs - for no reason but it amused him. "In the poot of the night" as opposed to "in the still of the night"  you get the idea.

This is a great way to get to know you girls! Hmm let me think... FI and I stick out our bottom lips and nod our heads when feel bad for one of us...like if I stub my toe he will look at me with that pouty lip and then it makes me laugh and I have to do it back to him... When I was 18 I was obsessed with Vince Vaughn...I saw him in a Dwight Yoakam video and it was love at first sight...I printed out a list of all his movies and made it my goal in life to see everyone...which I have! I also joined his fan club and they sent me an autographed picture...I had it framed and it came with me to college and I have it packed away right now...but I love that other people have come to appreciate what a great actor he is!! I feel like such a nerd for sharing this!

Stover- I just watched that insanity on cnn. The kid wasn't even in it! & now he's missing. I hope he didn't fall out of it because he'd be seriously hurt & instead he's just hiding in his house scared somewhere.

Ok, Jackie Smarty Pants..That is also true..But if you have a somewhat more healthy diet, a good way to see your water intake is if your poop floats :P

I meant to ask earlier, what is this Highlander show about?
  • edited December 2011
Highlander is about immortals that go around trying to kill each other by cutting their heads off. Not their own heads, another immortal's head. That's the only way they can die. There's a good-guy immortal, the Highlander, and a bunch of bad-guy immortals. I used to watch the old tv series when I was a kid... don't ask me why. ;) That's all I have to say about that. Random fact - did you know that storks are more closely related to vultures than they are to to egrets and herons? They're both in the family Cathartidae. One behaviour that they both share is that both storks and vultures can aim their excrement away from their bodies or down toward their legs, which they will do to cool off. ;)
