This morning one of my coworkers had her 19 yr old daughter with her at the office. We were discussing her recent research paper that her Professor is making her redo. She had to write about an event in history. I told her to write about the Challenger and she looked at me like I was crazy. She had no clue what I was talking about. And then I realized she was born in 1991. Confession: For the first time, I felt really, really old. And I thought it was very unfortunate that she had never heard of the Challenger explosion.

I have used one of my wedding gifts. The chip clip. And I didn't even think of the fact I am not supposed to use anything til after the wedding til I had already clipped the bag of chips closed. Oh weellll.

One of the valet guys at the building I work in is a nut, in a crazy goofy way. My confession is that if he weren't so darn cute I would probably be describing him as the annoying valet guy that thinks he's funny.

Emi - Jordan made me realize how old we're getting when he pointed out that kids born after 9/11 can have coherent conversations with us and that kids born after Aladdin was released are turning 18.

No! Whoa. For some reason we have Jonas Brothers pencils at the reference desk, and today one of the college students borrowed one. She said it made her feel old, which in turn made me feel even older. Oh well.

I am addicted to bridal magazines. I know they are a total waste of time and money with recycled articles and information that I could easily find online, but I cannot stop buying them! I always loved them before (as in, long, long before FI even came along) and would buy them on occasion, but since I've been engaged, I seem to have led myself to believe that I can buy every single one I see. I'm concerned that this addiction won't get any better after the wedding is over. I've already been engaged about five months and have lost count of the magazines I've bought since then. There's no telling how many more I'll buy over the next year. I"m glad this thread was started. This thought crossed my mind earlier today and I was hoping to be able to get this off my chest.

I'm late on this, but... - I saw Tony Romo and Jason Witten at lunch on Tuesday. I thought it was cool, but was in no way giddy or freakishly excited like every other person in the restaurant. It's a fun story, but they're just people, and there was no way I was going to disturb their lunch for an autograph, sorry friends. - I feel old every time I realize that my younger sister is in middle school. I was in middle school when she was born. Not cool. I also turned 25 this month. That did not help this particular situation.

Even though things have been progressing nicely with the possible position in Florida, I've been secretly hoping that a job would still open up in Texas. And one did. I'm going to apply for it, and I really hope they contact me before I go to FL for the interview.

I know the feeling on the "old" thing. It's birthday season in my group of friends and we're all turning 24 and 25. My 13-year-old brother is now as tall as I am and was talking about dating recently. Dating--not like the little kid, let's be boyfriend-girlfriend kind of thing, but actually meeting girls at movies I saw him come into the world. I do not appreciate this.

I too, am addicted to bridal magazines! Another confession: I have bridal wedding nightmares! I dream that I forget major parts of the wedding process...like I totally forget to order flowers, or get a dress, or to do my makeup!
