  This might not sound like much comfort right now, but in the end, everything will be sooo worth it.  And then you'll never have to plan another wedding ever again.

  Aw!  Well it could be worse - My friend just cancelled her DW wedding under pressure from her Indian fam, lost her deposit & is now planning a much more expensive traditional Jersey-style Indian wedding here.  Kudos to you for stucking to your guts!  You will have a fantastic time and that's all that matters.  SAs have trouble dealing with any deviation from tradition.  Its ok!
