  • Old: I had items of remembrance from each of my grandparents and my great aunt. I also had my (now) DH's mother's mothers' ring. All were in/on my bouquet. (All were deceased, except my grandmothers - they sent theirs for "luck"). The mother's ring would also fit the borrowed category. All other items were given to me.New: My dress, shoes, etc.Borrowed: (could also fit the old category) My future SIL loaned me her grandmother's engagement ring to wear.Blue: My engagement ring, and my wedding band were both sapphires.I did not have the sixpence in my shoe.

I love you Missy. Even though you are not smart enough to take online quizzes to find out really important information. ~cew

  • You know, I meant to do this, but totally forgot the blue. I had something old (my dress), something new (my hairpiece and jewellery), something borrowed (family item- sentimental handkerchief that I carried down the aisle), but I completely forgot to add in the something blue, and only realised last week when someone else asked about this! Clearly H and I are now doomed.
  • Mine kind of came together unexpectedly, but I'll have:New: dress/shoes/pretty much everything but the old, borrowed and blue ;) Old: the pearl necklace that has been passed down from my great-grandma (I may wear as a bracelet)Borrowed: the sash from my mom's wedding dress to wrap around my bouquet (that's seriously all I can do with it - the woman was tiny!!)Blue: antique aquamarine/sapphire earrings from my other grandmother, and also an old poetry book with a blue velvet cover that we're doing a reading from
  • Wow, you guys managed! I thought it would be fun to try and find all 4 items. Thanks!
