Silver the new white?

I've had no reason to look at gowns (wedding or otherwise) in decades, so it probably doesn't take much to surprise me, but I'm noticing a lot of silver gowns. They aren't merely trimmed in silver, but actually all silver.  Is this something new?  I must admit, I think it's rather pretty.

    Wow I'm not sure! I hadn't looked at too many dresses, ended up buying the first dress I tried on, just needed to try on a few after to be sure : I did see one dress with a tree design on it!

    I didn't notice any silver gowns at the two stores I looked for dresses, but they do have a lot of the blush color gowns out from what I have seen. They are beautiful but not for me I am having my BMs wear blush instead! :

    Caitlynmk, I seem to recall seeing one that was blush with silver accents. It was quite stunning!
