In response to your confession - I can't even begin to count the amount of times I thought "we should have just eloped!" and seriously meant it.I think that happens to all of us, or at least many of us!

    Ugh, isn't it awful that they can make us feel that way sometimes?  You sound like you've had some of the same problems that we have.  I applaud you for staying so calm.  Or at least that's how it appears. ;-)

    Well I mean... I have stayed "calm" or at least outwardly appearing so, but I internalized so much and got so stressed out I got shingles! Which is brought on by stress. Sooo... honestly I think you breaking down & crying is better than holding it all in. I just keep telling myself this will all be over soon, lol.

    Yeah I think that's the best thing that comes out of all of this.  I know Eric and I have each others backs and in the end we'll be husband and wife.  But to have a light at the end of the tunnel makes it all a little easier.

    For me, one of the best things when dealing with FIL's when they are being negative, I can think whatever I want in my head. LOL. I can't really say what I'm thinking, but I can think whatever I want and get a little pleasure from that. :)Plus it's always nice to be able to come here, vent it out, and have other girls understand - some who experience the same things. Weddings make people crazy!

    They really do bring out the worst in people and make peole feel crazy.  And after every convo I have with FIL's, I start thinking I must be a bridezilla.  Am I really all these things she says, lol.

    I know it's hard but, don't even listen to her!! I've found more people who consider someone a bridezilla for, from what I can tell, the fact that the bride doesn't want to do things how someone else thinks they should. Don't get me wrong, I've encountered a real bridezilla or two before, but you do not strike me as one. Not at all.

    That's what FI and my mom keep telling me.  The more I listen to her, the more hurt I'm going to be.  I'm better off not.  Now that's easier said than done but I'm trying.  Thanks! :-)
