I'm a married woman!

I am back and married! The wedding day was beautiful and went by so fast. Almost every single one of my vendors was perfect and many went above and beyond. We only had 1 little snafu with the photobooth, but I didn't even find out until after the wedding and hopefully it can get sorted out.I will post vendor reviews and a for sale bio with lottttts of stuff soon, but for now just a few thoughts and tips for future brides.-Try to stay in the moment as much as possible. It felt so surreal to me almost the whole day and everything went by so quickly. I tried to enjoy every moment though, and I think being aware of that helped a lot.-If problems arise on the day, try not to stress out. Just go with the flow. The outer layer of my dress got a little rip in it as we were taking pictures before the ceremony (I had no idea how hard it would be to walk up stairs and maneuver around in a dress with a huge skirt) I wanted to freak out, but I made myself stay calm. My coordinator quickly sewed it up, and no one could even see the rip. By the end of the night I had about 4 more rips, so any brides with chiffon or any other thin material in the skirt of their dress, be careful, but expect that it may rip a little if you have to do a lot of running around)-Try to get around to say hello to all your guests, but if you can't get to them all, it's ok. We went around to every table, but by the time we got to some of the last tables people weren't sitting down anymore. We tried to catch the people who weren't at their tables, but didn't get them all. I was worried people would think we were rude, but I had to let it go. We tried, and after that we needed to enjoy ourselves.-On the same note, make time to enjoy yourselves. The day is so jam packed and you are constantly being pulled in one direction or another, so make sure you allow yourselves a little selfish time to be with each other, friends and family and do what you want to do. We did that and I am so glad we did. Otherwise, I would have felt like I was at my whole wedding but missed a lot of it. It was only in that time I got to see the things we had like our photobooth, dessert bar etc.I think pro-pics will take awhile, but I hope to have some non-pro pics to share soon! Thanks to all the knotties who have been around awhile and helped me during my 2 year plus engagement. This board was priceless for me!

Thanks everyone!Dana- Part of me is relieved, part of me is a little sad. So much time and work was invested and it was over in what felt like the blink of an eye. I can't wait to see pics and our video though. That will help me re-live it all.I was so sad when my bouquet and extra little flowers we brought with us finally died. I even shed a tear, then laughed at myself for being so silly as I cradled my bouquet like a baby and cried on it. Seriously? What is wrong with me? Haha.

Congrats!!!  I'm so glad everything went well.  I totally agree with everything you said.  We didn't get a chance to go around to each table to try to to talk to everyone and I kind of regret that.  The night was going by so fast though and we lost track of time. I can't wait to see your pictures!

Bella.Vita Congrats! I am so glad that your day went so well. Thank you for the tips! They are priceless. When I graduated from college, I didnt get a chance to get to talk with everyone and I STILL hear about it! I can only imagine how it would be for the wedding...

Congrats Bella! I've been dying to see your wedding for the last two years...sheesh, we've been around awhile! You're not wierd (or maybe we both are), I did the same exact thing with my bouquet. Then again, Kristin is awesome. I took mine to the Ritz, the bellman went and got me a vase for our stay, then I packaged it up and brought it home on the plane with me and enjoyed it for a week or more. It was horrible to finally part with it =).

Chi-I know, I've been here forever and my wedding just happened! Haha. We stayed at the Ritz afterwards too, so nice! I think I am going to try to dry out my bouquet and keep it. I didn't think I would be so sentimental about it, but it was just so beautiful! The first time I cried during my wedding day was when I saw the floral arch Kristin made. She is seriously amazing. I wanted to keep all the flowers, bring them to my house, and have them live forever.
