So in honor of the holiday I decided to google for ghost stories about my town. I found one about a "steel miner" walking near the lake. hahaha! But to be fair, I guess stell mining would be a very frustrating, futile career that might leave your soul to roam the earth for eternity. I also wonder how you know a steel miner when you see one.

Ghost Hunters on Wed. was a place in Manitou Springs, about an hour from us. It was no Stanley Hotel (to which I still have not been), but it was cool to watch them freezing in a CO summer.

I've been to the Stanley! My sister used to live in Denver, so I requested a trip once while visiting her and I had just finished The Shining. But I was too chicken to walk anywhere other than the lobby.
