Our cake is included in our PP price at our venue so I don't know how much it costs. This is our cake, but the background will be blue and the piping will be ivory. And there will be ivory peonies on top.[img]http://tinyurl.com/yhaotqp[/img]

Wedding cake: $250 for 100 servings, strawberry-filled white cake.Groom's cake: $75 for 75 servings, cream-cheese frosted carrot.I don't have good pics, but the wedding cake is square, three tiers, and white with white floral scrollwork. The groom's cakes are two football jerseys with our names and sports numbers on them.

My cake cost about $700. I'm going to post my picture. But honestly, it's not going to be inspirational to anyone but us. DH designed the cake. We live on an island, I work on a boat, we were to get married on a beach. Well you get the idea. A tropical storm occured which caused the cake to melt because of the humidity (notice the sail fell).It still tasted awsome.

Lynda - mine fell too. This is the 'before' picture - the stack was really tall, and the room got warm, and it slid off the cake. Oh, well, it was still very delicious.

Oh, ours will only be four tiers though--bottom tier is round and the top three tiers will be petal shaped.Two tiers will be red velvet with cream cheese frosting, and two tiers will be vanilla cake with strawberry mousse and chocolate mousse.

Les Paul - I do have before shots.. but this was the easiest to find. Everyone loved the look and taste of the cake. They like that not only did it taste good, but it was different from your standard cake.

We paid $450 for both the tiered and groom's cake. Together, they served our 140 guests and we had TONS left over. Pics are in bio under "All Things Yummy"

Sadly it is low. Since Martha's Vineyard is an island they really get you. But, the cape and boston are high anyway. We actually went with the cheapest one on the island because I was against having a cake since I don't even like cake. My mom and H talked me into it. The others ones we priced were between 800 and 1200 for the serving size we needed.Cake cutting fees are very normal too.

$550 for 3 layers (to feed 120) of white chocolate cake with white chocolate & raspberry filling and buttercream icing. Scrollwork on one layer, quilting on one layer, & swiss dots on one with a ribbon band on the bottom of each, and fresh flowers on top. Inspiration pics in my bio.

I don't have much of an idea since we're still so far out, but based on the bakery I'd like to have, I don't think we'll get out for less than $500. I don't like cake that much either, but I still want to have a pretty one.

$2.50 a slice with a custom filling. So $250-$300. depending on our numbers. Buttercream icing with a fondant bow. Something akin to this:
