Pumpkin Centerpiece idea and question

I'm thinking of having pumpkins for my centerpieces and am desperately trying to find a vendor who could carve table numbers and a bride and groom sillouette. I don't even want to try to attempt these on my own, not even with a kit. Anyone seen this or know of anyone in the WB area who could do this? Thanks!

Sounds like such a cute idea. I would maybe try asking at local florists or craft stores.

it does sound cute, but i would be concerned about rotting . pumpkins last a long time when uncut, but once cut they begin to sag, smell, etc. maybe get decals to put onto the pumpkins instead. this way they could be done ahead of time. if you have a lot of tables, the person doing it may not be able to do them all in 1 day but some may have been carved 2-3 days before..

You can also try painting the pumpkins. Just like the decal idea, you can do them ahead of time and you won't have to worry about them rotting.
