New to the board/photog question

Hi everyone!  I'm new to this board...my fi and I got engaged on October 29.  Shooting for an October 2010 wedding hopefully  I'm really excited to start planning!My fi and I are looking around for a photographer in the Bloomsburg/Danville/Williamsport/ area to do our e-pics.  We are on a bit of a budget, so I'm looking for reasonably priced photogs who take gorgeous pics.  Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated!  Thanks!

    One photographer you could look into is Minnig Photography.  Their website is www.minnigphtography.com and they are located in Bloomsburg but definitely cover the area you described.  One warning I will give you is that they are taking a long time to get us our pictures back as I got married 12 weeks ago and am still waiting for the majority of my pictures.  What we have seen so for (20 some preview pictures) we love and they were really great to work with and very affordable.  If you're willing to wait a little while for pictures it's worth talking to them, just be forewarned.

    We are using Cardens Photography. They are awesome to work with, and they're extremely affordable compared to a lot of the other great photogs out there. I think they might even have some specials going on right now. www.cardensphotography.comAlso check out their blog - that's where all the good stuff is!

    Susschen--thanks for the warning!  I've heard good things about the Minnig's but will definitely take the wait time into consideration.Mamie--her pics look great.  Thanks for the rec.!

    I typically also recommend Minnig Photography. If you book them for your wedding, the engagment photos can typically be had for free in a package. Otherwise I think they only charge $50 or $100 per hour.
