SO Upset....

11 Days to go....As many of you know I have been dead set on finding where the photographs below were taken. Now that I have figured out that they are at the Bellagio pool area.... The Bellagio said "Guests only in the pool area" You can't even pay to get in. Unless I can find someone to sneak us in that is staying there (which is unlikely) I need to find another place just as beautiful for our "first look" photos. Any ideas?

That sucks because that really is a beautiful area.  What hotel are you staying in? Maybe some other brides can give you some ideas.

We're staying at MB, there's a really pretty staircase where I was thinking of doing the first look.  For some reason when I think of a girl making a dramatic entrance, I think of her coming down the stairs.
This is a neglected planning bio.
This is a belated married bio, with no reviews yet because I'm lazy.

Sometimes I feel like people think that brides are delicate little flower princesses who get all dressed up and pretty for one special moment of their dreams, when really they're just normal people who just happen to be getting married. Things shouldn't have to be sugar-coated for grown-ass women. -mstar284

Did you explain that you'll only be taking pics and that you'll only be there for say like 10-20mins? Maybe you should ask your photographer if he could pull some strings, they usually know how to get around situations like this, ask him it's possible to get in.

I'm getting married at Bellagio and they don't even allow their brides to use outside photographers on the grounds, so I wouldn't count on getting in there for photos.

I am flying a local photographer out with me, so he can't pull any strings. :/ I really love the idea of the bride holding up her dress and "Sneaking" up behind the groom... the arches would have made a perfect backdrop! :(

We are staying at the ever so crappy Excalibur. lol. I love the look of the outside of the hotel but the inside doesn't have any "beautiful" settings.

What about the Tropicana? This is something I found on their website: Three relaxing outdoor spas offer the perfect place to melt away your cares and drink in the magnificent scenery. Five ponds and lagoons add to the island atmosphere, while over 60 varieties of trees, ground cover, foliage and flowers create explosions of color. There is a picture and it looks nice but you would have to call to see if the would accomodate you. There is also the Valley Of the Falls at mandalay Bay (as long as there isn't a wedding going on), or the waterfalls by the Wynn across the street from the walkway over to Fashion Show Mall. They are very pretty, but it's a distance away.

We got married at the Bellagio and had the Bellagio Photographer for inside chapel shots but had an outside photographer for pictures as soon as we were outside the chapel.  He got some lovely shots inside the conservatory, by the fountains and also by a small fountain near the Bellagio entrance.  He also took us out onto a patio near the pool area (but not in it) and we had loads of pictures on posh chairs in the Bellagio.   We were not approached once by Security.    The Bellagio has so many nice arches/marble backgrounds I am sure you will find something that will be just as good.

I talked to one photographer that said photography on casino/hotel grounds isn't supposed to be done by anyone other than the "official" photographer.  But that just depends on the secuirty guards and sometimes, if you tip them/"bribe" they will let you do whatever. of course.  HTH a little

I have checked with a handful of the strip hotels and none of them allow outside photographers. Your best bet would be to do it outside one of the nicer hotels. In front of the Eiffel tower/ Arc de Triomphe I have seen some great photos, also infront of the Bellagio fountains or also that waterfall between the Wynn/ Palazzo is very nice. And as for the pools they are very strict with checking room keys. I have tried to do the same thing- pay to get in, to no avail.

The outside at the Flamingo has some really nice areas for pictures with greenery and it's free  and open to the public =) I plan to do my first look down there since I am staying there.

We had our photos at the arch at mandalay bay, in the green spaces there and by the waterfall. it was great and easy. no problems at all.
