What do you all use to keep it away? My hair is pissing me off this week, help!

Dryer sheets. I keep one in my purse and rub it on my head to alleviate static. You might smell like laundry for a few minutes, but it works wonderfully.

Quick fix is to rub a dryer sheet over it. I'm not aware of a more permanent solution.

I spray my brush/comb/pick with Static Guard.

Put lotion on your hands and rub it it. Then rub your hands over your hair.Or, spray your hands with hairspray, and then run your hands over your hair. Or spray that static guard stuff on your hands and run them through your hair.

Hmm. I usually just literally rub it over my head and under my hair, like I'm putting my hair into a ponytail, and rub it on all sides, like around the ponytail part. That sounds ridiculous. I don't know how to explain it

Conditioner will REALLY help.I also sometimes rub lotion like half way into my hands and then rub my hands on the ends of my hair. It helps.

TLV maybe I didn't do it enough. Also, I love the smell of dryer sheets. I just hate to condition since my hair gets oily so fast.

I mean for me conditioner helps everything. Maybe just put it on the ends of your hair if you're worried about it getting oily?

Yeah, definitely don't put conditioner on the top of your head. I sort of pull my hair into a ponytail in the shower and just put it in the hair that hangs down. I don't apply it to my scalp at all.

I love Biolage hydrotherapie conditioner, but can't afford it usually, so when I'm being cheap I really like Dove conditioner.

I use dove conditioner or herbal essences. Sometimes head and shoulders when my hair gets really dry...for some reason I have it in my head that dry scalp conditioner can make my hair even more moisturized.

I keep trying to post over there, but I'm still iffy. I feel bad posting too much "newlywed" stuff here, but they suck sometimes. When I started posting about buying our house, they had me convinced we couldn't afford to buy a house unless we had enough money saved up to pay for the whole thing in cash.

TLV that is redic! I stick to my club board, sometimes F&B or H&F and I lurk on married life with sporadic posting. I love the way the nest is set up. I wish the knot would switch over.

I use head and shoulders all winter because it gets SO dry here. It's like lotion for my scalp

There's a club board on the nest? What's the club, like the month you got married? I've never ventured over there, but keep wanting to go to the bump. Those ladies and their ridiculous siggies scare the crap out of me though.

Pink, they do smell awesome! Bounce is the best! Vogt, yes, it is your wedding month but I think your month is too soon to be on the nest. They keep it on the knot for a few months or more and then it moves to the nest.
