HELP!! Sealand Travel Scam

So we went to a travel 60 min speal on Friday, well we signed for these great discounted rates and are now out $2600. And the company is a scam and up for many issues with the better business bureau. Soo - don't fall for this!! - also any legal people who know if I can fight this, stop payment etc? so frustrated here we thought we were getting a great honeymoon deal and now lost money.

    Did the money come out of a debit card/Credit card/check/EFT? Has the money come out of your account yet?

    It was a credit card. The money hasn't come out yet but it is on hold/pre-auth so it isn't available as free money on my balance. We did mail out certified letters requesting to cancel our membership and I have asked my credit union/visa cc holder to not auth the money.

    Well, if it does come out of your account then you can report it as fraudulent since you didn't get the 'merchandise' you paid for. If the cc company doesn't give you the money back then I'm not sure what your next step would be... :(
