Wedding Favors

My wedding is July 3, 2010. I am having a difficult time coming up with wedding favors that are reasonably priced. It would be nice to have something related to MI since we will have a lot of out of town guests. Any suggestions??

If you are lokking for something michigan related - Check out the store Michigania store in downtown Lansing on Washington. They have a toon of michigan stuff like wine, Mackinac Island Fudge, etc. They might have something you would like.

We had boxes of chocolates from Gilbert Chocolate's in Jackson, MI.  We live in Jackson and my husband's grandma worked there as a chocolate dipper when she was young :-)  They have a variety of options for favors but we just had a box of two chocolates for each person.  Off hand I can't remember exactly how much they cost but they were well under $2 per box.

Before I decided on a candy buffet, I was going to do individual popcorn bags from Grand Rapids Popcorn Company. I bought some individual bags to sample, and they were yummy! You could also buy the bulk bags and package them yourself. Check out grpopcorn.com!

Sorry for another post, but I wanted to add they have a special red, white & blue popcorn called the Americana blend. $43.20 for 40 individual bags, or $42.70 for a ten pound bulk bag...I'm not sure if you're doing a 4th of Jul theme or staying away from it!

We are getting married the same day. :) My FMIL is making chocolate covered pretzels. She is planning on using the big "knot" ones. I know it's not necessarily Michigan related, but it is cheaper. We are also doing a photobooth.
