So... a few days ago I asked for some vibes from your lovely ladies so here is the update...FI's Aunt after being in the hospital a week is FINALLY doing better. They took her off the vent today, and she is breathing on her own no problems. They found out that when she had neck surgery about 3 months ago and she had gotten an infection. It grew internally so that is why they never caught it, she had a sack of puss that was getting so big that it was pressing on her trachea. They drained a lot of puss from her neck area, sent it off to be tested. Shes on antibiotics and is expected to go home by the end of the week. Thank goodness they caught this infection and it didn't get into her bloodstream! Thanks so much for the vibes!!
