Opinions/Ideas Please?

My wedding date has moved around quite a bit but now we have decided on an August date 2011.  I wanted to go for a vintage inspired theme I was thinking a plum and light blue color scheme.  What are your ideas?  I'm struggling a bit for summer colors that aren't super bright!TIA

    You don't have to pick colors based on seasons. If you like the colors, go ahead and use them. For instance, I'm getting married the same month as you and my colors are red and gold, which are often associated with fall.Also, you should go introduce yourself over on the August 11 club board. We're looking for more bodies over there.

    Keep your options open.  This far out, you're likely to change your mind on colors, so I'd say not to worry about it too much now and wait to see what feels right as your "vision" falls into place.  Offbeat Weddings, if I recall, has a lot of vintage-inspired weddings.  Maybe some of the wedding porn over there will give you good inspiration for colors?
