  Actually amazingly well considering FI has been out of town (for less than 48 hours, but I am needy so this is still big for me).  Talking about everything last week helped more than I could possibly expect.  The one specialist guy I called is not accepting new patients (boo) but he did refer me to a couple other people, so I'm checking into whether they are covered by my insurance.  I still want to see someone preventatively even though I seem to be out of crisis mode, thank goodness.

  Kati, I have been wondering about this too after last week's thread. I think the fact that you're out of crisis mode and are still seeking help is a really good sign. It's so easy to lose momentum on tough changes when not driven by the emotional overload and clarity of a crisis. Also, it takes a lot of courage to make those phone calls, so congrats.
