Hi ladies! Im just trying to get some life into this board! :) I go to 2 other boards (Hawaii and Destination Wedding) and people are constantly on. Sooo I thought Id start a new topic here! Are you/did you do any DIY projects? Post Pics of stuff youve done or inspirations to future DIY projects!

    This board is really quiet! I haven't done any DIY yet but I plan on doing the invitations and most of the reception decorations/centerpieces.

    here are the unfinished drink cards. they will be perforated at the bottom so they can detach the bottom and give it to the bar. [img]http://tinyurl.com/yjwat3m[/img] i haven't made these yet. but i have all the same items and the same color of ribbon, so these are my inspiration. [img]http://tinyurl.com/yj255rp[/img] i am also making our "guest book" with a treasure chest and seashells, the escort cards, a driving map for Maui, and a CD with cover. I will probably add more along the way, but this is enough for now and it has saved me a lot of money! :)

    ladies - i need some technical support. how are you getting your pics in your post? if i can figure out how to do that i'll show you pics of the inspiration for the following DIY projects. programs table numbers place cards guestbook (kind of a mix of ordering/DIY) STD's Thanks!

Keelin- I love the table numbers, so adorable!!Jen, IDK how everyone else does it but heres what i do.I upload my pictures to photobucket.comOnce uploaded copy the direct Link (it will be below you picture in your album)copy that link then go to tinyurl.comPut in the link from photobucket to create a small link. Copy new link.Come here and type (insert your tiny url where this one is)[*img]http://www.tinyurl/yar3129[*/img]and remove the *'s.

    I DIY'd my table #'s, my programs, invites, silk carnation pomanders, baskets, seating chart and favors. There might be some things that I'm forgetting. There's pics of everything in my bios =)

    I'm doing a lot of DIY for our Dec. 19, 2009, wedding: Bouquets, corsages, boutineers, centerpieces, guest book, jewlery, STDs, Invitations, programs, Reserve table cards, menu cards.  Our colors are dark red, black and brushed gold. I'll try to post pictures this weekend when I get more time. I found some great on line sources for high quality silk flowers if anyone is interested. Yummi Candles online was also the best price for candles and they are great quality.
