Two Questions help please!

Hello everyone I have two questions. First my FI and I have a friend that is a minister in Ohio we are planning to have a nondenominational ceremony for 150 ppl in my backyard and I was wondering if anyone knows if he can marry us in PA or is it a problem because he is ordained in Ohio? Second question my colors are going to be yellow, green and some brown. This may be a weird question but I am thinking now I will do fern color at Davids Bridal for the bridesmaids dresses or maybe a mismatch of green colored dresses anyways my flowers are sunflower and they have a lot of dark green greenery in them my concern was that the dresses and the greenery in the flowers would clash or look "off" or something. I feel like I read that is a concern somewhere anyways any thoughts? Thanks a bunch!

I can't say for sure about your minister situation - but we are getting married by my FI's college baseball priest - who was ordained in MD, and now practices at a church in VT, and he's marrying us in PA. He hasn't mentioned that anything would be an issue. For colors - I was picky about making sure my BM dresses didn't clash with the flowers, but I think everyone has their own style. If you're worried about it, and it's going to keep bothering you, go with something safe. If it's not that big of a deal, then pick whatever colors you want and go with it. I doubt guests would really notice unless it's was wayyyy off.  Sometimes variances in color make things interesting.Good luck!

As for your officiant question my husband and I were just married in PA by my uncle who is a pastor in AZ.  I believe as long as he is part of a congregation it doesn't matter where they are from.  You could double check with the office where you get your marriage license though. I don't think the greenery of your bouquets would really affect the look of your dresses.  In reality your girls won't be holding their bouquets all that long and I highly doubt people would even notice if they don't match.  I think its asking a lot to match the greenery to your dresses.
