Nightclub wedding reception

Has anyone looked into this option or having a nightclub wedding reception?

I like this idea but would want to hire the entire nightclub. I have a few quotes from places but wanted to get any reviews if possible?!

Thanks :)

I got pricing from Moon and Ghostbar for a lot less than that which I am happy about but would like more details on people who have had them there.

Way less than that to shut down the nightclub plus the costs of food and decor? Strange

We picked days that the nightclub is closed to get better prices but they still quoted me $20k - $35k to close off the nightclub on an open night.

Oh and also food is included, I found out that nightclubs tend to charge for a minimum food amount rather than a private event fee.

Yeah you can definitely find deals on off nights.  I think ghostbar would not be that great if it's a dinner reception unless they'd bring eating-height tables and chairs in for you since it's mostly knee-height tables and couches.  If not dinner though it would be a pretty cool reception venue; what time of year?  It can get warm in there on the hot months since the doors are usually open to the balcony.

Might want to look at Mix Lounge at Mandalay too; same height/view as ghostbar, it's on the strip so guests have more hotel options, etc., has an inside and outside.

If you aren't absolutely set on being on the strip the One Six Club on the 16th floor of Eastside Cannery is available for private parties. It's about 10k and includes food, plus with the decor there's not much you would need to do as far as decorations. It's on Boulder Highway in Henderson and was built in 1998, the club just wasn't bringing in the revenue they hoped for so now it is used strictly for private functions. We are having our reception there.

Check the Knottie list because if my memory is right (which it has been known not to be) someone did have a reception/ceremony at a nightclub. Can't remember who or where but I remember looking at photos. I think her sister was in hospital or something and they had to get the hotel nurse to look after her or something so she could come. It is the only reason I remember it.

I was going to have my wedding reception at VooDoo Lounge and get tables and bottle service. But I changed my mind since my guest list kept growing

Marquee was charging $200 cover last week....on a tuesday!  I can't imagine the newer/more popular clubs would be less than tens of thousands.

That cover had to do with ATB and his events. Not the normal for most night clubs and most nights.

OP- if your able to do it on an night that the club is normally closed you'll probably get a much better deal. On a weekend, you'll have to compete with all the $$$ they bring in from their cover charges, bottle service, and drinks. Also, I believe one of the knotties did it in the afternoon (when the club wouldn't be making money anyway) so that's another option if your flexable enough

Yes we are looking at having it when the nightclub is closed so the fee isnt so much, we did look at Tryst but they have a minimum of 100 guests and we do not have that many!
Having ha da few quotes back from places, the price to hire it out when the nightclub is closed is 10X cheaper.
