Aisle runner in park?

I am getting married in a park. I have to walk over some gravel and then grass. Should I get an aisle runner? Any other solutions? I'm worried about my train being ripped and dirty.

    An aisle runner is a HUGE tripping hazard on grass, gravel, or any eneven surface.   It will shift around, get caught, bunch up, and hide little dips that you might slip on or trip on.

    Your train will get a little bit dirty from an outdoor wedding, but mostly on the underside that nobody will see.  Honestly, it will get a LOT dirtier from your indoor reception.....
