So I went to Jimmy Dee tonight- feeling a little "iffy."
Anyone have any suggestions or reviews for a fun DJ (preferably with a photo booth??)

Party Time Productions...Pat and Jay did my wedding, and they did an amazing job. A few of our guests who are engaged are booking them for their weddings.

I definitely recommend Strictly Entertainment DJs. Great music catalog, great MC, Great DJ.
I don't know about the photobooth. I've only known of photographers that offer that.

I'm using Dance Time Entertainment - basic package approx 1500

I chose them because they sat us down the first time we met and wanted to know about us and our personalities and thats how they build their performance at the wedding. My FI is very shy so they are making a point to not call him out all night and put the spot light on him all night bc thats not what he wants.

We went to a wedding he dj'd over the summer. It was, simply, awful. 4 hours of techno/rap crap. Everyone went with it for a little while in the beginning but it got old so fast that pretty much everyone except the bride and a couple of her girlfriends cleared off the dance floor for the rest of the night.

I've heard great things about Paul at Big Apple. We tried to meet with them at a bridal show but they wanted nothing to do with us - Paul came over at the end and was trying to be helpful, but the rest of his crew already ruined it for us. Anyway, like I said, I've heard good things about Paul.

As far as Ricky goes - he is simply amazing. Is he the one shooting your wedding? He was my favorite vendor, and I adore every one of our photos. Not to be an AW, but if you're interested this is his blog post from our wedding:

I'm using Next Generation Entertainment and have seen him do at least 5 other affairs and the are AWESOME ! but i dont know if they have a photo booth .

We used Jimmy Dee and they were wonderful. My dance floor was packed the entire night, and they were professional the whole time. With that being said, I can tell you that I did use The DJ Company for my uplighting and they were great. I also used Party Time Productions for photobooth and was very happy. I can't comment on the last two for DJ services though.

I've seen Big Apple many times before, and I would put them in the category with Jimmy Dee. They are very similar to me. You couldn't go wrong either way!
