Need suggestions-best resort on Fort Lauderdale Beach

Trying to pick a resort for my guests to stay-want to take a trip down soon to look at everything in person.

Need to know what is considered to be the best resort right on the beach-don't want to have to rent a car; want it to be good for a young crowd.

    I know you had posted before asking about miami and the keys as well... not sure if you are definitly set on ft lauderdale..but if miami is still an option and what you want is a nice hotel with everything in it..including clubs for the younge ppl and its all remodled and really one of the hot places now you can try finding out for the Fountainblueau in Miami Beach... HTH

    The best hotel on Fort Lauderdale beach for a young crowd would definitely be the W hotel! :)

    Thanks! We've pretty much decided on Fort Lauderdale since we've been hearing it's a little more quiet & relaxing; but still close enough to drive down to South Beach/Miami one night while we're there.
