I am planning a wedding for October 2013. I know it's a long while away, but I am a medical student who has zero time to research venues, much less visit them. I was hoping for some help on some locations that have made a good impression. I am looking for an estate or a charming hotel, something that is not out dated but offers some glimpse of old world elegance. I like Abigail Kirsch at the Tappan Hill Mansion, but I'm wondering if there is a similar place with rooms that guests can stay in. I know that Kirsch can cater outside their exclusive venues so if you have any places that allow outside catering (or comparable to Abigail Kirsch) and have guest rooms that fit what I'm looking for I would greatly appreciate it.
