Anyone in Rutland?

I wanted to post this in the Nest but it's not letting me see the Vermont forum there. Anyway! I might be getting a job in Rutland and am wondering what to think. I've always lived in FL and so snow is new to me... but the job is a GREAT opportunity and something that I've always to do. Can this FL girl survive a VT winter? What is there to do?

    sure u can: get snow tires and nice boots. find a place with snow removal included and heat, u will be just fine... u might love the chage if anything it will be the summers that drive u crazy with all the rain and mud and they only last about a month. i live in rutland raised here but i have best out west, i always come back lol
