Oh I agree but there were people that didn't think she would be found....but at least she is and there are NUMEROUS animal rights/rescues/advocates that have this on the radar so it's a step...

I am 99% sure there will be a petition going around for punishment aside from the money and if so I will be posting it like I said I would.

Definitely an international buzz

There SHOULD be more of a punishment and not just because those poor puppies were killed. This is some serious sociopathic behavior. Serial killers start out this way.

Up until now I was SO still hoping that video was fake.

it's international not all countries view it as bad as we do and even here in the US a lot of people get a slap on the wrist (we had a discussion on SB about it)....just hoping it being on the radar makes it a bigger deal than it normally would have - maybe that will set the standards higher

Every time I think of that disgusting video, I have to go back to Celles' baby coyote page to see an instance of human kindness (and canine cuteness).

I'm glad this was an international effort, and I wouldn't be sorry if an example was made of this girl.

I agree that animal rights is not viewed the same the world over, but I totally agree with the person who said this is the start to serious sociopathic behavior. Serial killers often start by killing animals.

I don't get squeemish easily, but this video made me naseous.

Not only did that video haunt me but I can't stop thinking about how she probably treated those pups PRIOR to throwing them in the river. I doubt she woke up one day like, hey this is a GREAT idea. I want to know where the mommy dog is. I hate her.

I agree I have been worrying about the mom too....and the other animals in that community. Someone said they don't value people there so I can only imagine about the animals, but hopefully this sparks some major change.

I'm of the opinion that she should be hog tied and thrown in the river so she can feel the helplessness that those puppies did before they drown. But I generally like dogs more than the general population so..

I think she should spend at least 10 years in prison. I'd say that's the average life span for many dogs, and she ended their lives. I also hope she gets the shiit beat out of her for all 10 of those years.

I won't post it, but if you think that is bad you should see what the Chinese do to rabbits, dogs, cats, minks, etc. for their fur. Not the kind of fur that you would use for a coat but what you user for trim on a bag, blanket, jacket, shirt, shoes, cat and dog toys, etc.

This is a fairly isolated event but in China they are paralyzing THOUSANDS of animals by stomping, swinging and smashing into the ground AND they will skin the animals alive. You can see the animals still moving after they have been skinned. They don't need them dead, just immobile.

Yeah, so you might want to avoid buying anything with fur trim. Again, this is bad. Don't get me wrong. But if you saw the video I did, you would see that this is really nothing along the lines of how bad cruelty can get.

The video is literally burned into my brain. Do NOT google it or look for it if you are not prepared for it.
