I'm doing what I call a "rustic romance" theme. BM dresses are a wine color. Centerpieces will be light pink, peach and ivory/white flowers in square wooden boxes. We're using white table linens. My mom will be making burlap table runners. Napkins match the BM dress color. I'm also planning on using birch bark candles on cake table/card table/escort table.
Originally, I had floated around the idea of doing an apple theme, or at least encorporating them somehow. We're from an area where orchards outnumber street lights 4-1. So, what if I alternate the centerpiece flowers with a basket of apples? FI suggested that our cake person (who also does favors) make apple muffins as the favors.
My question: Does this all work together with the rustic romance theme? Or is it too much? Too much randomly thrown together? Would love to hear what you ladies think! TIA for any advice/suggestions.
