I am looking for someone to take in my dress and add a bustle.  Unfortunately, Mary Catomy is booked.  I know about the usual La Modista and Dress Doctor but their reviews seem to be mixed which I don't think they should be for the price.  Ideas???

    I can suggest to you Linda Hill who works out of her home in Oak Park.  She did a beautiful job on my dress.  You can find her on Yelp, or I can give you contact information if you like.

    She's totally awesome and does amazing bustles. She did my alterations and everything was pretty much perfect.

    Thanks for the suggestions.  Anyone have any one in the city?  I'll travel if I need to but would like to avoid it if I can.

    I used Cori with the stitch fairy.  She comes to you no matter where you live (in chicagoland) so that was super easy for me.
