BM Dress Hell!

I have two very good bridesmaids who ordered their dresses in 2009.  Well, my MOH and other bridesmaids hadn't ordered theirs yet.  Today I got a call from my MOH saying that she went to order her dress and they told her there was no way that it would get here in time.

So, I spent 2 hours at Davids today picking out a new bridesmaids dress and changing the other two's orders to get the new ones in.  So, the bridesmaids dresses should be here on or before February 22nd.

Here's the original bridesmaids dress.



And here's the new bridesmaid dress.



The only difference is the neckline.  I was THISCLOSE to strangling someone today.

    Odd how they can get the new dress in on time and not the original.  Glad you got it cleared up though.  BM dresses were one of the most annoying details of my wedding.

    that seems like such a pain!!!!
    the dresses look a lot alike tho, and I think they're very pretty.

    Ugh what a pain. Glad you got it worked out. The second dress is still very pretty.

    Apparently they only have two of the first dress in that color in the entire US and neither was the size we needed.  They're working on making new ones, but they wouldn't be done before the wedding.

    That sucks Navy. The bridal salon I ordered mine from were very strict about the girls ordering theirs by the first week in October...and they just came in. BM dresses have actually been a pretty smooth thing for me. Although now it seems that I will have a BM trying to squeeze her 5 month preggo belly into a snug fitting little black cocktail dress! lol. It really sucks b/c they will definitely wear them again and she has to have fabric added to make her dress a maternity dress! :)

    I like the new dress you picked out a lot. They're very similar. I'm glad they worked everything out.
