Dress cleaner needed

Hi all!
I bought my dress second-hand (from a very nice lady's garage down in SoCal) and I need to have it cleaned.  It's not horrific, but the hem and top of the bodice are dirty.  I don't just want to send it to any dry cleaner (one of my fiancé's co-worker's had his wife's dress melted by their dry cleaner).  Does anyone know a reliable dry cleaner that won't "preserve" my dress, as I haven't worn it yet?  Thanks!

Blue Sky Bridal usually gets good reviews. I haven't used them myself, but since they also have a resale section that they run, I would imagine they know how to clean them well for re-wear.
