Sooo last night....

The only premier I saw last night was Hell's Kitchen and as usual I thought Ramsey was hilarious. But seriously keeping Raj and Sabrina? WTF?

Thoughts anyone? What did you see last night?

*Also I am super excited about Bones tonight!! EEEEEE!

Re: Sooo last night....

  • We watched the premiers of Modern Family and Cougar Town last night. Loved them!!
  • I watched SVU and that was about it, but it was really good.

  • I watched all the crazies on Survivor. I'm so excited about Bones tonight, too, but I have to wait until after ballet class to watch it. Thank god for DVRs.

  • I love Manny on Modern Family.

And on Hell's Kitchen I think it is too obvious who was cast just for TV value vs. the people who may actually have talent. But I'll still watch.

  • How is survivor so far? I was thinking about watching it. I think i stopped after season 4.

  • Criminal Minds was excellent, as usual.

I love you Missy. Even though you are not smart enough to take online quizzes to find out really important information. ~cew
  • I know I'm behind the times, but I saw the first episode of Gossip Girl finally, and it was soooo goooood. The clothes! Except for Serena's weird shorts. And those pink pants. Someone in the costume department hates her. I'm excited to catch up on episode two and Glee this weekend.
  • I watched Survivor.  I need to get caught up on Modern Family, though.  I really liked the few episodes I've seen.

Survivor is boring this year :(

There's not much happening now except people going nuts and stealing/ruining other people's clothes. I really just like the challenges, I don't care for the game play.

  • I stopped watching HK a couple seasons ago. It's just the same thing every time and it irritates me that people who completely suck at cooking even get on the show in the first place. Last time they had someone who couldn't even cook meat. I mean, seriously, why are they on the show? The last winner I saw was Danny. I've eaten at his restaurant, Flip Flops, which is only like 20 minutes from where I grew up, and the food is freakin amazing.

I watched Survivor last night. I hate Nay with a passion. She overdoes it with the bitchiness, and even though Fabio is kind of stupid he didn't deserve her attitude.
  • WHY IS NO ONE TALKING ABOUT GREYS???

  • I just got netflix so there are a ton of shows I havent watched that I was always pretty curious about. I'm starting with true blood and dexter. I love the books true blood is based from but I hear the show doesn't follow too closely.

I was also going to see about criminal minds.

So with you on that.  She's AWFUL.  Not even in an amusing way.

And I have to admit, I thought that Sash guy was gay, too.

It was so over the top. The head shaking, that weird thing she kept doing with her lips. AND she stole his socks, so WTF is up her butt getting mad at him when she's the one who did something wrong?

I think Sash is gay too, but the whole callout thing was ridiculous. I don't know what Shannon was hoping to accomplish with that one. He dug his own grave.
  • Modern Family was hilarious as usual!

    LVB, I'M excited about Grey's tonight :)

I HATE Hell's Kitchen. I watched (I know, I always do) but EVERY season I have no idea where they find these people. A gutter? Burger King? They're so trashy and untalented. No way in hell would I trust them to cook in my possibly-Micheline starred restaurant, let alone run it. I would actually like the show better if the people weren't such train wrecks. And if it wasn't so boring. I don't want to see the same dinner service every week.

BUT I do think Sabrina is one of the only ones who can cook. She's an idiot (or at least appears that way) and a total bitch, but she knows what she's doing. She's right - Nona cooked fried chicken as haute cuisine? Sorry, no. I think Sabrina will be this season's Autumn and she'll make it to the top 5.

Me, too. She picked fights with everyone for no reason at all. And she probably misplaced her own sock, but to just steal some other random tribe member's socks?! She's nutso.

  • Ah! Grey's is tonight? I've honestly never watched that show but I caught the re-run of last year's season finale and now I'm curious. I might check it out tonight, if I remember it's on.

You need to start Mad Men! It's slow for the first few episodes, then it gets really good.

That one episode got H hooked. I was watching the sneak peak back in May and he was watching it over my shoulder. The finale was coming on while we were on our honeymoon, so I figured I'd watch when I got home. H had a heat exhuastion thing going on at Disney, so we had to go back to the hotel. Before he passed out, he made me promise that I'd wake him for the finale. We've been watching all last season this week on Netflix.

  • Do you know I NEVER recognized that was Tim Curry? That was one of the creepiest characters (along with the one who kidnapped Reid and the one who killed Hotch's wife) they've ever had.

Yeah, I knew she was leaving. I'll be interested to see how they set that up. I'm guessing it will have something to do with wanting to protect her family more.

  • I loved the SVU episode last night.

I will watch Criminal Minds online sometime over the weekend I would imagine.

Masterchef? Yeah, I liked it. I like most of his shows, but HK is my least favorite. I just watched this mini series he did called "Gordon Ramsey's Great Escape" where he went to India for a few weeks. It was 3 episodes. Some of it was very, "Oh, look how cute and authentic these brown people are" and there was a lot of raggin on vegetarians, but overall it was fun.

I mean, yeah, you CAN get fried chicken at restaurants. And with Masterchef the whole point was to take home cooking/a home chef and elevate it to restaurant level. Not necessarily the level of the top restaurants in the world with French-trained chefs, though. You'll notice he was also not quite as hard on the people on MC because... well, they weren't professional chefs. I think the people are HK are BARELY pro chefs and totally not good enough to be working at that level of restaurant.
