Yay Thursday, one day closer to the weekend!!

Although Tuesday and Thursday always bum me out in the end cause my FI has work til 5 than an lsat prep course till 10. Good thing its over on Sunday when he takes the test, but he did mention something about taking it over cause he isn't sure he got what he needed to out of it. I guess we will see when he gets his scores back, hopefully its before the next class starts.

Although it shouldn't be as bad as this one cause the current one is 3 times a week and the one next time is just 1 night a week for way longer.

I haven't heard back from a single grad school about interviews yet. I know most of the interviews are in the next couple weeks. If I don't hear by next week, then I can probably assume I won't be going to grad school next fall. I knew this was a possibility because clinical psychology programs are very competitive and usually only have about a 1-4% acceptance rate based on the number that apply. It just makes things more difficult when I'm getting married and FI has to try and get a job to support us.

If I don't get in, we will move wherever FI can get a job but I will be applying again for next year and then more than likely we will move again to where I get into graduate school. If FI finds a really good job between now and Fall 2013, he might not go with me to graduate school or I would feel guilty making him leave. I'm just really upset about it right now and wish that I could just get in for this upcoming fall. I'm trying to be optimistic but it's not working very well.

Just a selfish vent that Fi truly has a good job and he likes what he does but I DO NOT like when he is gone for weeks at a time. Makes me lonely and sad. But I can't complain because it is a great job and he is good at it!

I would tell her to pick X number of people she wants since it's a burden on the budget or have FI tell her if she does over she should offer to pay. That's not right to do that to your parents

she feels like because she's heard through "the grape vine" that certain people won't be able to make it that she can replace those people with new people. And not to mention I had her make the guest list months ago, then gave it back to her a month or so ago to get addresses for everyone... and just last week she goes "oh I forgot to add So and So kids, they should have been on it from the begining" !! Really? and you never noticed? UGH!

I wish FI's boss would be better at managing money so that FI doesn't have to worry every week whether or not he'll be getting paid each and every Friday. It's so stressful for him which in turn makes it stressful for the both of us.

I also wish my mother would be able to find a job that fits her. She got hired at a daycare center a few weeks ago, but only lasted 1-1/2 weeks. The director said "she just didn't fit in." I can't believe it! She is a great teacher - she's taught at Head Start for 16 yrs, been a director of a daycare center, and has had a home daycare for 16+ years! WTH is wrong with people.

That's how FI and I feel about the past 2 years or so. He went to basic Feb.-early June, came home for a week, proposed, left for another 2 1/2 weeks, came home for a month, deployed, and got injured twice. We're still dealing with a lot of the injury stuff but I truly believe it has made a stronger. I know I was upset in the beginning being apart so much but it truly has been for the best and it saddens me that he's going to lose something he loves

I just want the marketing department to email me and let me know about the job I interviewed for. I hate that they told me they would make a decision this week.... it made me antsy. If they hadnt said anything I wouldnt have expected to hear anythign this weeek. BLAH! My week has been incredibly stressful (for other reasons) and I just want one thing to go right!!

I didn't know you work in marketing. Is that what your masters is in? I'm studying advertising and have one marketing class to take...I'm gonna take it this summer. It'll be like a month and 7:30am-9:30am everyday :/ haha

My undergrad degree is in marketing and my masters is in general business administration. Marketing jobs are hard to come by, so I am really hoping this one works out! I currently work in National Accounts. Have fun with your marketing class.... I loved all of mine! What kind of marketing class is it?

I would say keep your hopes up still. I know people who had interviews between now and April for various schools. Maybe you were wait listed? If so, a letter of intent saying you'll go there if they accept you I've heard works sometimes.

I just got out of a two hour meeting. Where this intern attorney thought she was going to make the meeting longer for her school hours. wanted her to leave so bad. I wanted to tell the Lawyer she could take the documents and shove it. This is really making me grow as a professional and personally.

Confession - I feel really guilty that FI told his mom she couldn't invite any friends, while my parents have invited 16 friends! I feel really guitly now. I guess we should tell her she can have a few but we are already at the high end of our venue's capacity. Also, she is not contributing any $ toward the reception & my parents are, so that sort of explains it, but I feel really bad that FI told her flat out no before he and I talked about it.
