Vague contract

i'm about to sign a contract with a chosen venue but it seems very vague. It's a 1-pager and simply states Sit down buffet and the price per person listed next to it. It has nothing about open bar, no of appetizers/main courses, etc. 

I'm looking to see if you guys have seen something similar or are contracts supposed to be more detailed than this?

    INSIST that they revise it with all of the ammenities that are being offered. We had them revise our reception space contract 2x because they left out details. Its YOUR day and its an industry, so make sure you are getting what you asked for upfront.
