  There are actually holders that clip over the end or you may be able to attach long ribbons that you tie.  The florist for DDs wedding put extra long ribbons, they went around the end (like the arm of a chair) and were tied around it.

  You may want to check with your church or venue to see if they allow you to attach anything though.

   If the clips don't fit... you can tie ribbon through them and tie them on or use tulle.  You may have to tie on for the top and the bottom.  Hope that helps.
