Note to all brides wanting photos outside The Venetian

Yesterday we were unexpectedly asked to stop taking photos outside The Venetian resort.  This has never happened before - inside the shops is restricted in the same fashion and this is better known - but the security assured us that it is standard procedure and that, before taking any photos on the grounds, you must contact management in order to request permission.  I believe permission to take photos is free, but you must inquire in advance (the security said even requesting it same-day would be possible).

Our photographer told us that they can be strict sometimes in many of the casinos. He advised that we just keep moving and be really quick with the photo stops. It worked for us and we weren't stopped anywhere.

We made sure to ask before taking photos inside any of the casinos.... as long as they know what you are doing, they don't care. We were even allowed to throw the dice playing craps without having to bet. (@Planet Hollywood). They even allowed DH up on the stripper poles in the Pleasure Pit... I couldn't believe it when I turned around and saw him up there! lol

Who did you contact?  Security?  Front desk?  I'm getting married at the Venetian and my WC insists no outside photography is permitted, even around the grounds.
