I know ive been long long lost but i am back! I finally went on my belated honeymoon earlier this month. Pics up on facebook! I wanted to do a review on it just in case any of you were planning on using the same vendor/hotel.
Jon and I went on Discovery Cruise to Freeport Bahamas and stayed at the Our Lucaya Radisson. We had a lovely, relaxing time. The staff was GREAT both on the ship and at the hotel. I highly recommend paying the extra $45 for the VIP access on Discovery which gets you upgraded dining, escort to and from the boat and transportation. I cant stress how awesome it was to be escorted to and from the ship, it took us 10 min and no need to wait in line for anything. A couple we met there waited and hour 1/2 to get through customs.
The hotel was really great, although it can use a little more activities it was still great. I told the front desk it was our honeymoon and they upgraded us to a much nicer better bigger suite at no additional cost.
We did all the activities we could on the island and were able to sleep in for the first time in years!!! lol.
