New to planning - Vendor recs needed

Hey Everyone!
I just got engaged a month ago, but now I've got to start getting things lined up with Christmas break around the corner...
Fi and I are pretty set on Vintage Villas, but I need help with reasonable recommendations for the following as we're paying for everything out of pocket ourselves:
* DJ
* Photographer
* Florist
* Non-den. Officiant
Thanks for your help!

    A lot of our vendors are listed on the sticky of our intros.

    Also, if you just scroll back through some posts, a lot of girls post their vendor reviews. What I did when I first started planning was bookmark those reviews to refer to later.

    Welcome and congratulations!

    Also some people have vendors and good ideas in their wedding/ planning bios. May want to check some of those out too.

    Like PP have said, the introduce yourself post has most of our vendors listed, but to try to help out and save you a little time, here are the vendors we are using:

    * DJ - Airwave Dave; we met him at an open house at a venue and were overwhelmed by his charm and personality.  Our guests aren't exactly the partying type, so we wanted to go with a DJ who has a big personality that will help everyone have fun.  He might not be the least expensive, but he was willing to throw in some extras with his service.  He will be supplying the outside PA & microphone for the officiant, playing the prelude, ceremony, and postlude music.  During our cocktail hour is he playing the grand piano that is already at the venue. He also made me feel as though he is organized and would have no problem meeting our expectations. Tell him Brandie sent you!

    * Photographer - Blackerby Photography; we lucked out to have stumbled across these folks! They are a husband and wife team that really knows what they are doing.  I came across them on the DFW board (we were considering having our wedding DFW). We just received our engagement pics back and they are amazing! Plus they give you all of the photos they take even if the number is greater than what you pay for.  We paid for 40 photos and received a HD disc with 137! And to boot, they were less expensive than many other photographers I liked.

    * Florist - Donna Foster, Central Market (Lamar location); we didn't plan on spending a ton of money on florals, but after meeting with Donna, we were delighted to see just how much we could get for our money.  She doesn't work via email, but don't let that stop you from visiting her; I'm so glad we did!

    * Non-den. Officiant - Chaplain Larry Todd; a friend of mine was recently married and had so many good things to say about Chaplain Larry.  I knew within the first 15 minutes of our 1st meeting that he was who I wanted to marry us.  He is much too kind and had even sent us some job classifieds after my FI mentioned that he was job hunting. Such a great man!

    Thanks so much for all the help ladies - you are all sanity savers!
    I will definitely check out the intros - silly me didn't even think of that
    when I posted.

    :) That is why I created the sticky for it. It makes it an eazy reference.

    Greenbelt DJ or ATX DJ Sean Alan.  I went to a wedding with Greenbelt DJ and he was awesome!  Unfortunately he was already booked on my wedding date but he referred me to his old partner ATX DJ Sean Alan and I was able to book him.  They basically allow you to plan all of your music.

    We used Donna Foster with Central Market (Floral Dept.).  Her flowers were gorgeous and very reasonably priced.

    We used Aimage Photography and were very pleased with Lisa Shepard's work.

    Our officiant was Judge Elisabeth Earle who seemed very happy to perform our ceremony.  Her office was always good returning calls and meeting with us.
