Tell me about you favors?

So I don't want my tables all over the place but I don't want them all skimpy either... the only favor I have right now is candy & candy jars. So what favors are you girls using???

I have no idea as of yet. Only because I have changed up my menu a little bit now. I wll keep you posted on my final decisions.

I'm just doing candy as well, but inside a tiffany blue box with a silver bow & personalized tag. I'm sticking with edible & keeping it simple.

I was born in Antigua so we are doing a hot sauce and rum from the island in small bottles and then a CD of R&B music

Flawssweetheart- initially that was my exact sentiment because my theme is about "Soul" so we are having a soulfood buffet and I was going to do the little bottles as well. However our menu has changed a bit so I don't believe it will work out quite the same.

@ prettymami- you could still do it. We aren't serving soul food but doing the hot sauce cause the type we are using was started and is made on the island where I am from (the lady who owns it is a good friend of the family). So if it is something that will have meaning to you as a couple still go with it. Cause you have to think the favors more than likely won't be used at the wedding they won't use them till after at home.

persian tea and persian sweets...I found these cute little boxes to put them in...but I wanted to include something to reflect my culture...just haven't figured out what to put in the box....(I like the ideal of hot sauce...but it will clash with the sweets...)

I don't think w'ell be putting favor on the tables where people sit though...I want to line them up on their own personal table out of the way of things.

We are donating to a local children's hospital in lieu of favors. However FI just decided he wants to do custom CDs with some of the songs we'll play at the wedding (he's in charge of the music and he's very proud of it - LOL). So we may end up adding that...

I'm late as usual, lol, but I love quotes! So i am making a small book (about the size of a flip book) of a whole bunch of inspirational quotes and I am placing them on the napkins!!!

We are doing mini-biscotti favors. Putting them in ziploc bags and then in a white box with the biscotti recipe inside the box.
