Yeah... I'm trying to give her the benefit of the doubt, but the only one that made me side-eye was the one listing a whole bunch of things she wanted to do and then asking if they were ok. One of them was "cupcakes instead of cakes." I'm sure she meant well, but it bugged me a bit.

OK, now I feel guilty. Gah!

Oh, I saw that post. The part that bugged me was that there was very few things on there that would get the side-eye. It's not like she listed "honeymoon registry. tiered reception, cash bar, wedding poem that asks for cash, 8 hour gap, 30 person wedding party". Cupcakes aren't making you the rebel bride, sweetie.

See, it's perfectly OK to want to AW stuff. You can AW pretty much anything on your club and month boards, and they'll be all "ZOMG PUPPIES!" (at least, that's how mine were). That's what they're there for! Or, if you feel like you know people well enough, you can do the same on the national boards. I know I had more than my fair share of AWing stuff, especially DIY projects, and people were really sweet about it. Just call a post an AW post, and people who are interested will look and comment, and people who aren't will know to skip over it.

That's my story, and I'm sticking to it!

Shoegal has been around for a looonnnggg time. And she's been given a hard time for a loooonnngggg time. I remember thinking "Ugh, not again" about her posts back when I posted regularly on E when I was unemployed the LAST time (so...like a year ago). She has learned nothing, she will continue to learn nothing, and then she'll get married and hopefully go away.

And I will AW my pictures like it's the best wedding in the history of weddings. Especially since at the rate we're going, you guys will have pretty much planned the whole thing for me since I have wedding brain so bad.

Let us not forget that Shoegal used to have a different sn, and she changed it after Nebb's aforementioned "bullying and stalking" of her so that she could have a fresh start on the boards. Except she then proceeded to out herself as her former sn, as a way to make a point that E bullying was so bad she had to change her online identity to Shoegal. The whole thing was ridiculous.
